Six guests.
Two artists.
One table.
That’s a Table of Eight.
We invite six people from different segments of our community to dinner. Prominent people, outspoken people, local people, average people, quiet people. Different people..
Alongside two members of Hurrah Hurrah, we become eight.
We share a meal, cooked by Rose.
We talk about the big stuff and the small stuff.
Then—yes—you guessed it. Each person invites someone new to the next table.
Could be a picnic, a dinner, even a breakfast.
The table grows. The conversation continues.

We repeat this over six meals, bringing together a broad cross section of the community.
One big, shared table.
Many new connections.
Different points of view.
Care, respect.
We meet in public, accessible spaces—parks with sheltered tables or hired venues such as Airbnbs.
We hold Responsible Service of Alcohol certification and will obtain any permits required to ensure food safety and compliance. All dietary, cultural and access needs are carefully planned for.
We'll also set some really clear guidelines around communication. In this way, if you don't want to be in contact with someone, you won't be in an awkward position.
